This wall hanging was the result of my participation in an online architectural quilting class given by Rachel Derstine of Artfulquiltingandsewing.com. The class was amazing with participants from around the globe. I chose to deviate from using a building as my subject. As a New Hampshire resident, I chose to recreate the Mt. Washington Cog Railway in fabric and thread. This piece is available for $200.
I highly recommend Rachel’s classes and the beautiful hand dye fabrics from Vicki Welch.

Thank you so much, Kalina, for your kind words.
I’ve been on that! Exciting to see your quilt of the cog rail car.
Thanks, Debora. I made it as part of an architectural quilting class, but I decided to do the train instead of a building.
